The proof

We're putting a power plant in a noodle bar. Not a metaphor.

The Heat Exchange Cafe & Noodle Bar in Louisville is our working demonstration: a real kitchen running Electofusion in public, every day, while the cafe earns its own revenue.

Why a restaurant

Why a noodle bar instead of a lab?

Nobody trusts a lab demo. A kitchen runs 12+ hours a day, throws away massive amounts of heat and pays brutal electric bills. If it works there, in public, the numbers speak for themselves.

“A lab gives you perfect conditions and perfect excuses. A working restaurant gives you neither — which is exactly why the numbers will mean something.”

Chris Dunn

What's going in

  • Kitchen heat

The cooking line's exhaust, captured where it runs hottest.

  • Gaming PCs

Liquid-cooled rigs in the cafe add a steady second heat source to the same system.

  • Power and hot water

Recovered heat offsets grid power and helps heat the cafe's water.

  • A public meter

Before-and-after numbers from the kitchen's own electric bill, out where anyone can watch them.

The install happens around lunch rushes, between orders, while the line keeps cooking. No clean-room shutdown, no controlled test window.

Mounting points going up, the unit staged, metering in place. Installed around service, while the kitchen keeps cooking.

  3. Meter goes live Up next

Before-and-after numbers from the kitchen's own electric bill, published here.

  4. Doors open Up next

The cafe runs as a working showroom anyone can walk into.
